You will assess and inform colleagues on the implications of changes in legislation, structures and mechanisms relating to students and take a lead role in the implementation of any necessary changes in agreement and consultation with the Information and Advice Manager. You will be required to organise and deliver presentations, workshops, training, and awareness sessions for applicants, students and staff on student issues. It is essential that you are educated to degree level or have comparable learning and experience. You will be working with clients on a one-to-one basis in a customer-focused environment, deciding on appropriate interventions where necessary. You must be able to manage a caseload, organise and prioritise activities and keep good quality notes. It is essential that you can communicate clearly and effectively and with tact and diplomacy when dealing with sensitive issues.
