Registry is a key central administrative Unit of the University which provides a range of services including admissions, student records, examinations, curriculum support, international partnerships, compliance and scholarships. Members of staff are required to work flexibly and provide support across the Unit according to the priorities of the academic cycle. Registry staff initiate, shape and support institution-wide projects, effecting improvements in key strategic areas including the overall St Andrews student experience.  We are seeking a professional, highly motivated and organised individual to join us a part-time Student Conduct Officer. You will have experience of working with young people in difficult situations, as well as knowledge and understanding of the key HE issues affecting students across the sector.  You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and mediation skills, and be enthusiastic about the Unit?s desire to enhance our service to students.You will work closely with colleagues in Registry, Student Services, the Security Team, the Proctor?s Office and departments across the University to maintain and develop appropriate student conduct within the University and wider community.  You will act as a primary contact for student safety concerns and town/gown related issues, liaising with Police Scotland and other external agencies as appropriate. It is anticipated that up to 350 Professional Services staff from a range of Units will be based in the new development at Guardbridge. From 2019, this post will be primarily based at Eden Campus, Guardbridge.
