We have a vacancy supporting adults for a Full-Time Support Worker in our service located on the Wigan/Warrington border. About the role We are looking for a resilient, creative and inspirational individual to work days and sleep in duties in an exciting new service supporting a gentleman with forensic care needs and helping him move in to his own single tenancy. This is in line with the Winterbourne View agenda. What we need from you We're looking for someone with a positive, non-judgemental approach who has some experience of working with vulnerable people. Although we welcome people from the care sector, you don?t need any previous experience as we provide free practical and vocational training. You'll be able to work on a rota basis covering weekends and bank holidays demonstrating flexibility in your working patterns. It is essential for this position that you hold a full manual driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK, together your own transport which is insured for business use.
