We work across 16 boroughs, employing over 1000 staff and supporting over 1500 people.Full Time - Support WorkerWe have a great opportunity for a Support Worker to support twenty one people with mental health support needs within our mental health supported living service in Lambeth. You will be supporting people between the ages of 18 - 65 ensuring they live a happy and meaningful life where support is based on choices as well as needs.Our Support Workers are who people we support can rely on, the people who take the time to listen and always go the extra mile to help. You will provide positive support to people to enable them to participate in community activities; you will also work with and develop a personal support plan that addresses people?s specific needs to assist them to achieve greater independence and self-esteem. You will actively liaise with statutory, voluntary agencies, advocates and family members.We are looking for Support Workers who are highly motivated, have a positive outlook and are able to engage and motivate people to participate in a range of meaningful activities.Prior support related experience is advantageous however; Certitude will provide full training including the Care CertificateYou must be able to work flexible shifts over a seven day rota which will include morning and afternoon shifts and sleep-in shifts.
