Support Worker, Youth Worker, Young people, Social housing, Temporary months+ 8.41-9.45 Your new company You will be working for a growing housing organisation in Chesterfield that specialises in promoting independent living with young people aged between 16 and 25. They aim to safeguard these young people and empower them to develop life skills, whilst recognising and praising their progress and achievements.Your new role You will be working as a support worker with young people within the organisations properties. The service users will be aged between 16 and 25 and have faced a number of different problems. This includes homelessness, domestic abuse, self-harm, alcohol and substance misuse.What you'll need to succeed You will need experience of working with young people in a supportive housing setting. Working with service users who have faced homelessness, alcohol and substance misuse is desirable. It would be desirable that you are able to drive, although this is not essential. We welcome candidates from both social housing and social care.
