"Good" secondary school in Brighton area require a Teacher of Science Department. Start Jan 2018. Perm Basis. They have a four school pastoral system that fosters smaller caring communities, who learn and develop together, in the context of a larger school with shared facilities and activities.Your new role In your new Science teaching job you will enjoy working within a secondary school situated in the Brighton area and will specialise within Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be working from January 2018 on a permanent basis. You will teach KS3 and KS4 GCSE level Science. You will be responsible for developing the students and guiding them on ways to improve. You will plan and prepare lessons, as well as setting appropriate homework and coursework and have regular contact with students. Working as a Science Teacher for Hays will also allow you to have access to a number of partnership schools that would be inaccessible by any other means, and you will be given the opportunity to focus on teaching in the Key Stage you specialise in.What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this role you will need to have qualified teacher status, or be looking to complete your induction year. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up to date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables.
