Being part of our team will involve you working alongside our engaged frontline expert staff who are passionate about providing truly unique person centred care.We now have an excellent opportunity for an Individual Support Worker WAKING NIGHT to join us at our†Residential Centre in Ashford.WHAT IS NEEDED TO BE AN INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT WORKER-WAKING NIGHTAs a waking night support worker you'll need to be patient, caring and a great communicator. You will attending to the needs of the people we support and ensuring their well-being and safety during the night, as well as assisting them in getting up in the morning to wash, dress and prepare their choice of breakfast.You will monitor those we support by carrying out periodic bedroom checks throughout the night. You will also assist those who have not retired to bed or comfort those who wake and help to reduce any distress or anxiety which may be preventing them from sleeping. This may include preparing drinks or light snacks if required.It is imperative that the waking night support worker remains alert throughout the shift. When not attending the people we support you will be required to undertake light domestic duties, such as general cleaning and ironing.
