Lumus360 (Chepstow)Lumus360, one of the UK?s leading providers of fully customised 360 feedback surveys are looking for someone who is self-lead and able to quickly take ownership of our 360 feedback application.The role would be varied and cover: the upkeep and continued improvement of our 360 feedback system application (written in PHP and using a MySQL data base)the maintenance of our VPS (hosted by Heart Internet)IT security aspects of the system and data we holdThe candidate would come with a Bsc in Computer Science/ an underpinning relevant qualification and:experience in PHP and JavaScript programminga working knowledge of MySQL databasesexperience in the maintenance of servers, their operating systems and architecturea sound understanding of IT and application database securityOur new team member would be self-driven, and have the following key qualities:a perfectionist with a really good eye for detaila logical worker, thinker and problem solverthe drive to stick with things and see them throughownership of their area of the business whilst happy to support others and work as part of the business teama genuine desire to stay up to date with latest thinking in web developmentThis back office, key role is focused on the maintenance and ongoing development of the businesses web based 360 feedback application and the successful candidate will be expected to take responsibility for: The applications maintenance and continued improvement - The continuous debugging and fixing of errors in the program; Working with the team and customers to identify ongoing improvement updates; Either writing or working with others to write improvement coding; Testing then implementing updatesOur MySQL Data Base  - Ensuring the applications database operates efficiently and without error; Making and testing modifications to the database structure when neededVirtual server maintenance ? Performance monitoring; Ensuring security software is updated when new releases are made; Ongoing system hardeningIT Security ? The ongoing review of IT Security and its practical application; The upkeep of our security document; Ensuring our data and that of our clients is secureCustomer projects  - Adapting the core application to meet the specific needs of customers
