For Scotland’s Mental HealthEMPLOYABILITY ADVISOR (Ref: N503), Fixed Term 12 monthsBased in Glasgow £17,990 - £19,959, 37.5 hours per week The SAMH National Employment Team operates high quality services to support customers to access and sustain employment. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team and make a positive impact on the lives of the customers we support. You will help to deliver services that we provide in partnership with a variety of organisations. Your role will be to provide person centred employment services to individuals who use these services, including group work and one-to-one work. You will have excellent communication and inter-personal skills and be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in supporting individuals with mental health problems, support planning, and supporting individuals to achieve their goals. Although supporting customers into employment is the ultimate aim of these contracts, SAMH’s role as a specialist provider focusses on equipping customers with the skills and confidence to take them closer to the jobs market. You will be experienced in delivering group-work programmes using PowerPoint and will have good facilitation and communication skills. Previous experience within employability/support work is desirable. Please see Job Description for full details. As this post will involve travel to meet customers in various locations a full driving licence and access to your own transport is essential.
